For over fifty years, this organization has been a leader in Code Development and Educational offerings. With ICBO having merged into ICC, the organization has an opportunity to focus on the needs of our members and consumers.
We provide our members, associates and the general public with the latest developments in building safety from local, state, national, and international perspectives.
As you are aware, there have been significant challenges to our profession ranging from the uncertainty of which codes we will enforce to the constant flow of new regulations we are responsible for. With the new challenges we face, the Association has been undergoing changes. This last year has seen our organization change by including new and varied meeting formats, a refocusing of our efforts in Code Review and code development to our continued quality educational offerings.
There are three types of SVABO memberships:

Basic – $65 (receive minutes and membership rates for education)

Industry/Jurisdiction Memberships – $250 (includes benefits of Basic and attendance at every luncheon/chapter meeting as well as one registration for the annual Installation Dinner. If you cannot attend, someone else from your agency can attend in your stead. All other employees from your jurisdiction receive the discounted member rate for educational courses.)

Student – $20 (in recognized program and not employed in the industry)
